Your SPY target is coming sooner than I thought, or at least close enough for you to score big in the end.  You don;t have to get your entry perfect.  Shopping lists are good.
Bought some CAH, EOG and GD

Watching RDS.B and a few other oil names. Want to pull the trigger but my finger just wont quite hit it lol

I have a ton of lowball limit orders in because I don't know if the market will pullback an hour from now.  I'll go back soon and adjust a few of them up some so I don't completely sit on my hands today.  Don't have to hit the absolute bottom for some of the entries to look real good in just a few months.  ENB is the only "oil stock" that has caught my attention.   The dividend is as good as an oil major, and they move oil, not sell it.  They are getting killed with the sector today.  Going down with the sector funds I suppose. The need to move oil demand hasn't fallen 30% this years is my thesis.  Gotta have a thesis lol.

Picked up a few shares of CAT and LMT today.  Doubt it is the bottom but it was a good average down for my position.

The ETF's are horrible. I like the old days when ETF didn't exist. ETF kill the market. Do any of you remember that day like 3 years ago when the computers were in charge and the market dropped like 3000 points that morning and then a week later we got all those loses back? That's what today reminds me of.

The fear and blood are in the streets. Stopped losses are being triggered. All these mutual funds getting whacked and there is no way out of those. Most people are not like you and I where they follow the market on a daily basis. Most looks once a year and are clueless lol.

I swear some of this is being done on purpose so Trump doesn't get reelected. He cant use the stock market as an excuse again lol. I dont normally talk politics but a lot of what's happening out there is because of this. The corona has existed for while now. That will subside at some point. The stock market was due for a correction but now its blown way out or proportion. An over reaction like it always does. The yoyo is back  Big Grin

ETFs take out a lot of stocks by association on a short-term basis as collateral damage.  It's definitely made it more complicated.  You can make some money trading the inefficiencies, but it takes considerable effort for sure.
My attempt to buy quality shares at a lowball offer continues. A few of the trades I missed this morning executed. Added a few shares to CAT,ABT,LT, PRU, MET,CBRL I may not be done, Re-entered MMM today. Sold high on the mask hype and it finally worked out for re-entry. My dividend payout income increase will be huge for 2020, no matter where the shares go that is already settled. We have a mini financial crisis brewing so my financial shares like PRU and MET concern me. I need to do more research so don't put too uch faith n my wililngness to average down here, but they have been crushed and I think they can pay the big dividend.

Re-entering on the UTEs I sold is high n my list. I may start nibbling today.

Binary

After not buying XOM for the years the time is right todaySmile Plus EMN, BMO and CBRL.

As much as I hate oil right now, it's hard to not to like your entry in XOM at a 20 or so year low.  Your patience will be rewarded from here IMO.  I predict CBRL will be a big win for you this year.

I'll share my afternoon trades later.  I'm sure a lot of them must have executed now.
Added few shares of BP, CM, DOW, EPD, IP, PRU and RDS.B
Nibbled some more this afternoon at limit orders got hit. Nothing big, all 5-20 share purchases and a lot of them average down an existing position.

WY-PPL-D-DOW-WELL-IP-V-MDT-ARES

Bought back half my NEE position. Sold it a week or so ago higher but it is being resilient for sure. Thought I might get back in 10% lower. Not right now Smile Move was good for about 5% and I got me some NEE FOMO now. NEE just won't stay down for two days. Hope to buy the rest back soon lower but I;m not holding my breath.
Added slightly to BABA, SBUX, FB.

Still have plenty of dry powder left. Nibbling and nibbling Smile
Added a few shares of JPM and MSFT to existing positions.
