Cool, I own 7 of these, nuts!
PG, YUM, KO, K, GIS, PEP, and UL
KO being my largest position but it's still relatively small.
I've been watching KRFT and MDLZ, might buy some later this year.

No, they do not underperform if your metric is current dividend yield. They outperform by a lot.

No, they do no underperform if your metric is current dividend yield. They outperform by a lot.
I was referring to total return in the last bull run. IMO, measuring anything else doesn't make a lot of sense.
