(T, VZ, SO).

I'm okay with this, as they are allocating a considerable amount to buybacks (granted, not as good as a strong dividend increase).  I read an article (can't find it now, but I wish I could) about how the Walton family is pressuring the board to keep dividend increases small and buybacks large.  Their collective ownership % is rising, as are the rest of us who hold WMT.  It speculated that they may even take WMT private down the road, but I want to be the last WMT shareholder standing, and I'll sell my stock to them for a great premium at some point.
From the Earnings Call of Boardwalk Real Estate Investment Trust (BEI.UN)
"The Trust will be increasing its regular distribution by 10.3% to $2.25 per Trust unit on annualized basis beginning February 2016 distribution."

Not bad for a REIT. Wink

Yep...I actually may buy some tomorrow morning. I know commodities are frustrating to have in the portfolio these days, but in the 70s when stocks did badly and inflation was high, commodities went through the roof. I think it may be time to buy sooner or later.

EDIT: Actually, maybe not. I don't like variable dividends...I'll have to think on this (mgmt is saying 50% of fcf minimum for future dividends).
CIBC: Quarterly dividend up by $0.03 per share to $1.18. (2.6%)

Pretty good report overall, I've been buying more slowly for a while now. Was thinking of making another purchase today but we will see, I'm guessing there will be quite a big positive reaction on open today.

Yup. I think that's now 8 raises in the past 9 quarters. I think they are trying to set a new standard of raising it each quarter instead of each year. Big Grin
BUD raised 20%, and CB raised 17.5%.
