The Board of Directors of AmerisourceBergen Corporation (ABC) today
increased the Company’s quarterly dividend rate
17 percent to $0.34 per common share from $0.29 per common share.
The quarterly dividend of $0.34 per common share will be payable December 1, 2015, to stockholders of record at the close of business on November 16, 2015.
MCD raised 5% to 3.56 annually. What a champ.

S&P just cut MCD's rating from A- to BBB+
They specifically addressed this in the investor call. They chose to take on 10 billion dollars in debt because of the low interest rate environment. They also said that this shows their confidence in executing future successes. They sounded pretty breezy about it, and I agree with their confidence.
