Great news and I just added more after hours. Where else can you get that kind of payout.
Sure people hate the company and bash it. But that's a
Solid increase and just 1.6 pp under the target payout ratio of 80% based on minimum guidance of $4.59

Agreed. MO MONEY… MO MONEY ?
Yeah, (ethics aside), MO is just a beast. It is still 10 percent of my DG portfolio by value, and accounts for a bit more than 20 percent of my dividend stream. I'm a little less sanguine than many about the quality of earnings and the payout ratio, so I'm kind of keeping a closer eye on it than I used to, but still confident in it overall.

Same. I own quite a bit of MO but it makes me nervous around $50 as I am always waiting for the next shoe to drop from regulators.

56th dividend increase in past 52 years - #MO - smoke em if you got em.
And this is going to clear $50 soon enough.
I will prepare to get nervous then. I suspect you are correct. Gubment is pretty busy right now so maybe they will leave MO alone awhile longer. I decided to flip some of my MO over to BTI to spread the risk, then I bought a bunch of BTI and didn't sell MO.

Pretty happy with this holding.

Lol. Look at the one-day chart, knuckleheads!
