Because all the ladies like to shop there  Big Grin  ohhhhhh

There killing in golf, sneakers and sports equipment. And online sales are growing fast. Go in to a store and you will see why.

Dick's net sales jumped 20.7% year over year to $3.27 billion, fueled by a 19.2% increase in same-store sales.

But at these levels its no longer a buy. One big reason it shot up so much was because of the heavy short positions that had to cover today. 18% of the float was shorted.

The question is how much better can the story get and can they keep up that sales growth?

Post Covid go out side and play trade.  Activewear as well.  Back to school, back to work etc.  That theme might have legs again next spring.  There are many outdoor companies that have run very hard this year so Ill be selctive.
