8 years in a row now with ~2% dividend growth and it just guided for flat EPS growth again in FY22.

How this continues to trade at a 26 PE baffles me.

The security of owning a Mega Cap Div payer becomes a self fulfilling prophecy?  How does HRL sport a tech PE?  (which you pointed out long ago).

Another famous aristocrat looking weak.  I need a pretty good discount to touch this one going forward.

2% special Div this summer will likely happen as their balance sheet and FCF is very good unless gold drops $500 an ounce which  I don't see coming.

Deere $DE announced today they'd be increasing their quarterly dividend by 18.4% to $0.9 per share from $0.76 per share
That's wonderful for share holders. I gad it at $61 and sold out when it ran up to $70-80 quickly too soon. Lol

Ah John Deere stories.  I shorted it 7 times last year with credit spreads.  I didn't enjoy the last one much.  Smile  I'd be homeless if it was a normal short.  DE has been crazy.  I live by HQ and they were laying people off 9 months ago.
DE is one of my worst sells. Was a good lesson in being patient with cyclical companies.

Actually, just checked and DE is by far my worst sell.

Sold at $88.60 on 8/23/2016 and it is now $345.28, which would have been a gain of 292%.
