I'm in some of these stocks as well. Just want to know if you all still in and adding, ort just holding what you have

PLTR - Lots own or owned in here. I see a lot purchases from $22-$26. Anyone buying at $12
PYPL Lots bought in that $190-$220 range - Do you love it at $158? Any buyers
SQ -  I see buys in that $175-$200 range -  Do you love it at $105? Any buyers
SOFI - Bought in that $18 range. Now $12 ouch - Any buyers here?
AMD - I see people bought a few weeks ago at $120 range. Now $102. Have to love it at these levels
TDOC - I see buys in that $170 + range. Now at $67. Ouch... May have to buy soon
INTC - New low today - One of the few tech stocks reasonably prices
RUN - new 52 week low $23. You loved it at $60 why not $23

PINS, DKNG, CRWD, TTD, U, UPST, HOOD, SOXL also near 52 week lows

Some of these stocks are getting hammered and lots of us own these names. Do we come back a year from now and wish we bought or added more? We shall see

And there's many more names I didn't list
Yup I own some of these as well. Granted they are small positions where I can add here and significantly lower my cost

That SOXL was just $64 10 days ago. Boy does that one drop fast. This is why I stay away from those kind of plays

I own INTC, AMD, PLTR, and PYPL on that list. At least I know AMD and INTC will come back lol

I think most Nasdaq names are near lows Wink
Well don’t buy HOOD. They just had disastrous report. Headed below $10. Another pump down the drain. Buy gold instead Wink

I own INTC and would add if it drops another $3-5

PYPL, AMD, and TTD are the three I like the best on your list, although TTD is still quite expensive.

Many of these names are priced at very high price to sales and many don't have any earnings. Some could still fall another 75% and be expensive.
If you put $5,000 into $HOOD in August, you'd have less than $600 today...

I don’t know about dropping another 75% but lol

Eric don’t you own CRWD? Or was that someone else?

I bet you half those names on that list won’t even be around in 5 years
I only own INTC from the list. Since I already own 178 shares, I'm not really looking to add more, but if it dropped below $40, I would probably be adding some more.

This will be fun, some wins and losses for me.....

PLTR-SOFI- Option traded about three times each successfully.  Missed the crash and not by much.

PYPL-Owned it long ago but I wasn't touching it again after it blew past 100 so fast.  Still overvalued IMO.

SQ- overvalued by the time I heard of it or I may have joined in.  FINTECH is looking more competitive so I'll probably skip it.  There will be some margin pressure in the sector I don;t care to figure out.

TDOC- Never saw the moat.  Way overvalued IMO.

INTC-First shares I bought were probably $10 split adjusted.  I was up big and gave it back when the tech bubble came

RUN-I did some very nice swing trades in 2020-21 and was way up.  Then it tore my face off.  Gave it all back and chewing on some shares I'll own a while.  Perhaps my biggest loser for 2022 is my prediction.  It's probably OK if you give it some time and buy the bottom.  About the largest solar installer in the US.  I'm good with holding some shares. Very dependent on legislation now. If it doesn't go well probably a $ 25 stock for years.

DKNG- very good trade a couple times.  I  got lucky and it didn't blow up when I was playing.  Went a lot lower than I would have guessed.

AMD-  Bought it not long ago after it pulled back 20%.  Dipped another 10% lightning fast and my spidey senses told be to get out and revisit it later.  AMD will be fine.  It's been overpriced forever and will be again.

U may be good if you wait for the bottom which may be way south of here if market stays like this.  Thy have some tech with a good future, the stock price is just insane.

SOXL is about the only one I am currently playing with.  Very small position and I will try to catch the bottom for a trade.  Not afraid of it because I won't make a big bet when I could just load up with SOXX.

HOOD would have been OK enough  if it IPO-d for what it's actually worth but that didn't happen.

Other than solar I bailed on anything sketchy the moment I smelled a correction. I always do that when it hits the fan. Flight to quality. I want a port that allows me to turn off the computer and hold if it gets too ridiculous. You can always buy spec back later. I dodged some major bullets.
U is the only one I own off that list. There are a couple of other expensive hype stocks that I also own, which are obviously down a lot.

I will be adding to U soon. It's below my cost basis now and I do believe they have a bright future ahead.
Some of those other hype stocks? I am in no hurry. I'll add to them if they truly become good value, but we are still probably quite far from that.

I own CRWD and PLTR through an investment club, but none in my personal account.

I have shares of SQ and TTD in my personal account.

I think you are right, but I'd be patient and try to get the cost basis down significantly.  There are some winners on this list of duds, but it will take some time to get them down to an attractive valuation.  The P/S= 50-100 game is over for a long while.

For those I'm familiar with:

Bought PYPL at $200 fairly recently. Will likely buy it in my IRA when I do the rollover around 2/20 unless the sp goes crazy before then.
AMD - $100 has been my target price but this is without running the full screen, could go higher, had $120 as my "dig into it" price but when it got there I'd used my cash on NVDA. I have owned it before, sold in late 2018 as about a 4-bagger.
INTC - Also owned it, another I sold in late 2018, limit sell order of $50. What's it trading for these days? I have zero interest in it. Revenue growth stinks, particularly when compared with its sector. And they have repeated missteps on product launches.
INTC was so dominant. They swatted AMD and other competitors down numerous times. Now they are a series of unfulfilled promises. They are lucky they are huge and in an industry that is so capital intensive or they would be done.

I intend to re-enter AMD. They will execute long-term. Whether the stock is 90 or 120 of something in between a few weeks from now is less certain.
