Quick Stock Rover issue/question:

Terrific tracking site now that they use Yodlee as an aggregator.  Unfortunately, they have an issue that they can't seem to address.

All of our portfolios (IRA's, 401K's, taxable, etc at both Fidelity and Vanguard) import accurately with one exception.  We have one IRA at Vanguard that will not accurately record Basis.  In fact it records current value as the Basis.  Numerous emails to Stock Rover without a fix.

Anyone else see this?  Any recommendations?

Thanks....
It's gonna be a Yodlee issue so SR is probably aware but unable to do anything but pass it on + apply pressure
From Stock Rover:

Hi Rob,

Unfortunately we have seen this issue happen where some accounts update and others don’t from the same brokerage but there is nothing we can fix in these instances.

Here is the message from our development team:

Stock Rover processes all the information we can get from the brokerage integration but sometimes basis data isn’t available for particular holdings or accounts.  If that data becomes available we will leverage it but we can’t do anything else to fill in the blanks other than suggesting that users enter the cost per share  for each holding in the main table as a one-time workaround.

Regards,
Alison

Stock Rover Support Policies
Well, at least they didn't tell you to turn it off and then back on again.
Just an update on portfolio tracking....

Going to say goodbye to Stock Rover ($249.99/year)...

Several of my Vanguard ETF's will not show up despite repeated emails to tech support.  They are an incredible research site but there are others....

We also moved everything from Vanguard to Fidelity.  Despite having substantial dollars at Vanguard they will not allow you access to their "aggregator" without signing up for their advisor services.   They also could not/would not fix my rollover IRA and it synching with Stock Rover despite SR and Vanguard both being Yodlee clients.   I was pretty surprised at their attitude-business must be good.....

Fidelity offers "Full View" which is an aggregator (without the bells and whistles of Stock Rover).  It is also a big help to see all of our finances (both of our IRA's, taxable brokerages as well as my 401K) in one spot.

Full View also copies and pastes into Google Sheets for the Big Picture.

Your mileage may vary....
